The Arts are an important part of Bend’s genetic make-up. This is evident by the many music festivals, community gatherings, cultural tourism and art events that are held throughout the year. The vision of the Kilns is to be a local hub for Bend artists both as a store and an event venue. Through first Friday's to art shows, human rights presentations, live music and concerts, lectures and just about anything else related to art and culture we want to be involved in the community and in the lives of its artists.

Another focus of the Kilns is to build global awareness not only through the items we sell but also through lectures, fundraisers, video presentations and art shows. We want to support those who are giving their time, finances and lives to make a difference in the world. As Ghandi said, "Be the change that you want to see in the world.”
